Sidney VanNess is Vice President of the Biotechnology & Healthcare investment banking practice at White Mountain Capital, LLC. Prior to joining the banking practice, Dr. VanNess served as a research analyst with the firm and covered twelve NASDAQ-listed small cap biotechnology companies. An active member of the Bluegrass Angels (Lexington, KY), he has helped organize the Southeast Angels, and is on the board of the Angel Capital Education Foundation’s education committee. Dr. VanNess completed his undergraduate work in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Centre College and received his Ph.D. in Molecular and Systems Pharmacology from Emory University. In addition to his activities in finance and biotechnology, Dr. VanNess is an active software entrepreneur.
